In my work as a professional I am intrigued people who can engage with their audience using SIMPLE visual aids in communicating complex messages. Excellent speakers sometimes do best without any presentation aid, but most business topics have something to gain by including visual tools break down the message into memorable and easily understood components. Scott McCloud coined the term “infinite canvas” for the new comics medium made possible by web browsers as his TED speak demonstrates. He bends the presentation format into a cartoon-like experience, where colorful diversions whiz through childhood fascinations and imagined futures that our eyes can hear and touch.
